My name is Isabella Torres and I am a senior at Lodi High. I was born and raised in Mexico and moved to the US when I was 10 years old. My favorite part about Mexico has to be the food and the memories that I made as a kid growing up. One of my favorite books was “The Distance Between Us” by Reyna Grande because it was very entertaining and every page was intriguing. I have two younger sisters who go to Lakewood and two Schnauzer dogs who I adore with all my life. One of the reasons why I chose journalism is because I am passionate about writing and capturing the moment in a story. I am very excited for what my last year of high school will bring and what will occur in the future!
